When I disputed the creditors’ Forms 1099-C and requested the IRS to obtain verification of debt from the creditors pursuant to US Code–Title 26 Section 6201(d), I never heard from the IRS again.
After my debts were forgiven, the nightmare was over so I was able to start my life anew, free from credit card debt. I was able to focus on taking care of my family. I kept 2 credit cards and continued to use them. They carried small credit lines, one for $7,000 and the other for $5,000. I pay the balances of the accounts as soon as I receive the monthly statements. My FICO credit scores initially took a dive to the high 500s but after only 7 years, I am back to the high 700s and even got to 800 on one of them for a few months last year. I feel really blessed that I did not have to file for bankruptcy and that the path I took enabled me to write this book which I hope would help a lot of people who are in the same predicament as I was, to accomplish the same thing I’ve accomplished-----a credit card debt free life.

I was doing a research on credit card debt settlement negotiation when I came across this book. This book has a lot of amazing information that I only found in this book and no where else such as opposition to plaintiff, refusal to arbitrate and verification letter to the IRS are only some of my favorite. This book is very well written and I highly recommend it.

Incredible and Powerful Resource on How To Successfully Fight Debt Collector Lawsuits!

I have no idea who DidoSphere is and frankly I don't really care. All I can say is after reading the entire contents of DEBT FORGIVENESS Chapter 2 WHEN CREDITORS DECIDE TO SUE, this is a MUST READ for anyone facing a credit/debtor collector lawsuit. I am fortunate that I came across this book when I did because I am currently being sued by one of those junk debt buyers the author describes so vividly in this book.

The step by step guide in Chapter 2 includes examples of what to do when you are sued by a creditor/debt collector, how to respond using correct legal terminology and how to rebut their claims using your own affirmative defenses. It even walks you through the process of defending yourself in a hearing, motions to file, what objections you can legitimately raise against the debt collector's attorney, what to do if you have to face a trial by a judge and how to file a motion to vacate a judgment if you don't prevail at trial.

The incredible thing is that you won't find any of this information anywhere, at least not on the internet and certainly not from speaking to any of the attorneys that I had consulted with. Though some of them seem anxious to just take my money while another was content to tell me to settle my debt for 75 percent in the creditor's favor! Imagine that!

What you will find in this guide is powerful, credible information to help you navigate through all the claptrap that the wily debt collector attorneys are known for and use the information contained in this powerful guide as a shield against their legal shenanigans.

Anyone, and I mean anyone who finds themselves the victim of a creditor/debtor lawsuit needs to buy this guide book and thoroughly read and re-read it cover-to-cover. It is that important and helpful. Suffice to say, I can't believe that the information contained in this guide only cost 8.99 because it is worth ten times more than the $8.99 it cost to purchase this.

This book has so much practical information that is easy to read and understand. I think the details about what to do when creditors sue are very important to keep in mind for the future. I highly recommend this book, especially to those who, like me, are recently out of college and want to build up their credit the right way.

One of the best comics out there that's been ignored

How this book flew by unnoticed by the comics critic/blogger culture shows there is something is genuinely wrong with that group. While they were off praising the horrid grad school term papers of Chip Zdarsky and Kelly Sue DeConnick, Lee Bermejo was drawing and writing one of the best comics to come out that year. He does everything but colors here and doesn't skip on a single detail. It's pretty impressive.

The basic plot is a John Carpenter style movie idea. The big one style earthquake hits California and the whole world goes Mad Max by way of Rollerball. All the non-English speaking masses are kept out a new LA city state with armed guards set one shoot to kill while inside the city the only way to cool down under all the fascist dictatorship is to watch Gladiators fight to the death. They're called Suiciders and the best of the best is the lead of the story. Like any guy in a story like this, he has a big secret. A secret so big that the dishy reporter who finds it ends up dead with him being framed for it. Now, it's a mad dash to get out before his world goes completely south.

The politics aren't well done in the book and are something of an after thought it seems. There's some clear America's southern border silliness going on. The difference between this and a book by an overpraised hack like Nick Spencer or Greg Rucka is that it's only a minor facet to the story. It's a exploitation hook the way older movies used to roll. The main thrust of the book is a mystery as to what's up with a death sport star with a shady past. The other stuff is just some quick local color. It works well and his version of LA and the Mad Max future is interesting in that it looks like the run down cities in disrepair stuff you'd see in old Italian cop movies.

The illustration and coloring work can't be praised enough. You can follow this book on images alone and nothing is left to chance or skimped on. Even when he doesn't know what to do as far as words go, Bermejo makes up for it with fantastic images. Another thing, bodies are different, faces, facial expressions, heights, weights, etc. He isn't going cookie cutter here like Chip Zdarsky and many of the more unfortunately praised illustrators out there right now. Bermejo is going for it here.

The sequel is almost done right now in monthly format and I can't wait for the next volume after this

SUICIDERS was under the radar one of the best comics of 2015

This volume collects the first arc of SUICIDERS which is written, drawn, and inked by Lee Bermejo with colors from Matt Hollingsworth.
On the wreckage of an earthquake suffered by the West Coast the city of New Angeles has been founded and walled off from the outside world. The city is run by a mysterious corporation that keeps the city clean and perfect on the surface. Front and center here is the favorite past-time of New Angeles- The Suiciders. Suiciders is a gladiatorial arena fight to the death cheered on by thousands at the arena and at home on television. Its bloody and spectacular, which Bermejo and Hollingsworth render in a beautifully gritty realism. As spectacular as these fights are, there are many secrets behind New Angeles, behind the cosmetically modified faces of its residents and especially behind the corporations Suicider champion- The Saint. As we follow The Saint we quickly learn that some secrets come at a price and may be best left covered. Parallel to that we see the story of a rising fighter in the shadow of the wall surrounding the great city- Straniero. We see them wrestle with the city and fight for their own destinies and not letting life tell them who they are going to be. About the Author
Louis Gary Lamit is the former head of the drafting department and CAD facility manager at De Anza College in Cupertino California. Mr. Lamit has worked as a drafter, designer, numerical control (NC) programmer, technical illustrator, and engineer in the automotive, aircraft, and piping industries. A majority of his work experience is in the area of mechanical and piping design. He started as a drafter in Detroit (as a job shopper) in the automobile industry, doing tooling, dies, jigs and fixture layout, and detailing at Koltenbar Engineering, Tool Engineering, Time Engineering, and Premier Engineering for Chrysler, Ford, AMC, and Fisher Body. Mr. Lamit has worked at Remington Arms and Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as a designer, and at Boeing Aircraft and Kollmorgan Optics as an NC programmer and aircraft engineer. Mr. Lamit also owns and operates his own consulting firm, and has been involved with advertising and patent illustrating.

They should call this the PTC Creo Parametric Bible!

Concise and well presented with a strong approach on appropriate parametric modeling techniques that are not usually conveyed at all in other CAD books. This is without a doubt the best-written introduction book on Creo Parametric 3.0 I have ever worked with. It is also quite good as an upgrade book. Limit's propensity for writing textbooks throughout the years truly comes out in this new PTC Creo Parametric 3.0 version. I could not ask for a better manual to instruct my students with. Not only does it cover parametric modeling with a step-by-step approach were one learned technique builds on another, but it also covers assembles and detailing as well. It comprehensively covers the new PTC Creo Parametric 3.0 interface and includes links to his personal webpage with free student edition of Creo as well as complimentary projects and the author’s personal lectures that add hundreds of free pages and educational ideas for the user to access. What a deal...! If you find a better, more well thought out concise CAD book I will eat this one!

Excellent tutorial if your transitioning from Solid Works 3D CAD software to PTC CREO. The video tutorial reference in the book is great and bridges the text in absorbing CREO. PTC Creo is not an easy program to learn but, definitely this tutorial will help you in navigating comfortably until you get more familiar with Creo.

Grade 5-7-This is the first book in a planned series of "natural disaster" stories. Warren Spalding is sent to live with his grandmother after his father dies in an accident and his mother returns to college. There he discovers his grandfather's invention, an Instant Commuter. Accidentally, the boy is transported back in time to the slopes of Mt. St. Helens just minutes before its eruption in 1980. His new friend Betsy follows him in an effort to save him and both experience the whirlwind of ash that makes it difficult to breathe as well as move, the sharp earthquakes, and the frightening lightning. The fact that the two friends are working on a school report about the mountain allows the author to bring in other facts about volcanoes. Some readers will find this approach too didactic. There's no character development; Warren and Betsy are wooden figures as are the other people they briefly encounter in the present world and in the past. However, students interested in volcanoes may be drawn to the detailed descriptions of what it would have been like to be in the midst of this eruption.

Warren Spalding isn't happy to be working with Betsy Spalding. But the teacher of his natural disasters class assigned the two to work together on a report on the eruption of Mount St. Helen's on May 18, 1980. When the two are working together, Warren is trying to work his late grandfather's invention to travel through time when he accidentally ends up on Mount St. Helen's when it's about to erupt. Worst of all, he left the time machine - called the Instant Communter - in the present. The only way Warren can be saved is if Betsy figures out how to work the machine, travels to 1980, and finds Warren. Can Betsy get to Mount St. Helen's before the volcano erurpts? An exciting adventure on the slopes of Mt. St. Helens

"The Volcano Disaster" is a fast-paced action adventure, set on the slopes of Mount Saint Helens just minutes before the volcano is about to erupt.
Although the Instant Commuter that was invented by Warren's grandfather hardly looks like it would work as a Star Trek transporter, much less as a time machine, it's easy to forget about it once Warren is stuck on the slopes of Mount Saint Helens with the Instant Commuter back in the future at his grandmother's house, where his friend Betsy has to figure out how to rescue him from the past before he dies in the deadly ash.
This is an exciting adventure written at about the 4th grade level. Peg Kehret has taken care to make this story true to the facts and setting of the famous May 18, 1980 eruption that took place in Washington State.
