About the Author
Judith Allwood grew up with a lot of limiting beliefs about money. Over the years she has not only tried to find her way out of poverty, but has wanted to find the reason for financial lack in the first place. Having been taught that “the cattle on a thousand hills are His” Judith found it difficult to reconcile that with the prevalence of material shortage, especially among “people of God.” A few years ago, she embarked on a personal query into the tri-subject of money, wealth and riches and to find out what God has to say about the matter. Her discoveries have put her on the path of financial peace and betterment. Judith has compiled her findings in a thought-provoking daily devotional entitled, “My God, My Money”.

I have been very lucky to review several excellent devotionals this year, and I believe that My God, My Money is my favorite! Judith Allwood's approach to a healthy relationship with God and personal finances is one that every Christian should read. Each daily devotional is about four pages long and includes scripture, a prayer, and questions for reflection on the day's topic of discussion. I found each passage to be well-researched and agreeably formatted; I was glad to see quoted scripture that is not common in run-of-the-mill devotionals. The sections on poverty, gratitude, giving, and ignorance were some of the more memorable daily readings. I had no trouble understanding what Judith was trying to convey, her genuine tone was evident throughout the whole book. Overall, I was quite satisfied after my 40 days had come to a close. I only wish that there had been more to take in. Highly recommended to all Christians who seek the Bible's advice on their finances!

This book is a gift from God himself! Thought-provoking and creatively written, this book enlightens the world that one does not have to be afraid to "want money" and God at the same time. Everyone has to survive, and it is ok to want that what is necessary to survive: money. God will be pleased because He helps those who help themselves. I truly enjoyed reading, and it made me answer questions about myself that I never realized were unanswered all my life. Very intense and powerful! A must read.

This book is absolutely astounding. It is yet the best expose I have read on the subject of money and its relationship to God. The lessons contained in this book have now become my personal mantra and guide for fiscal balance and accountability. I hope the author will produce a sequel.
