Thematic Approach to Geography

This book is perfect for a thematic approach to World Geography, as opposed to the usual regional approach, and appears to have been designed as a resource for both students and teachers in Texas to help in mastering the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for the World Geography course usually given in ninth grade. There are plenty of exercises, readings, and examples to help master key concepts, but the Texas State Legislature has decided to no longer require an end-of-course exam in World Geography and the TEKS have somewhat changed since this was published. This book is still a good resource.

Hadrian knows that Claudia is his mate. He just has to get her to admit it. Claudia doesn’t think she is good enough since she has no powers.

In this book we get to see how much you will give up for love. Hadrian has something that could cause him to lose his mind and mating with Claudia will make him better. Only thing is when they mate she has to leave Earth and all her friends and family. Hadrian loves her enough to let her go back home and Claudia loves him enough to stay with him. I enjoyed this book and this series has been one that I loved reading. I liked the cover of this book and I never thought about a demon being all black.

This author writes all kinds of different books. It’s enough to keep you from getting bored and keeps you on your toes. The way she describes everything brings it all to life. I would recommend that everyone read this book if you love demons and something different.

The "real" view from the other side

Not anymore real than the damned united but an interesting perspective of the history and future of the main charachters from the book. The writer uses interviews, sometime contradictory, to tell his perspective of the story. Informative and interesting but at times as theoretical as the original book.

This book expands on the stories of Clough at Derby and Don Revie at Leeds, tales worthy of their own books.

Even with the Leeds bias a great read. For a Leeds fan probaly something better.

I'm a bit motivated, but this video producer would have liked different information.

There is a lot of basic stuff here. If you are new to the video production game this is a decent enough book.

I have over a decade of experience producing videos but have not touched on Special Interest Videos (SIVs). This book spent more than one occasion extrapolating the math: "shoot this video, sell this much a month and get this much per year". Then they would even multiply that by an example if you shot ten of those videos. What I was interested in was the interaction between the video producer (me) and the subject matter expert (person xyz). Repeatedly they mentioned how they prefer a 'buy out' option but never give suggestions/examples/guidelines on that dollar amount. I understand every situation would be unique but given the examples on dollar amounts to be made, this was a key point I was hoping a large chapter would be dedicated to.

I do appreciate how they outline how much a production would cost. There are things a lot of rookies do not consider that are a very real part of budgets. Also the forms in the back can be helpful.

If nothing else. I am more motivated now to pursue a few ideas I have.

I would have given it more stars, maybe but throughout the book the author apologises about how this book couldn't possibly cover this & that and suggests an internet search for more information. Well guess what I would have done that anyway.

Many interesting characters left their mark on the Selous, not the least of whom was Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany.Most hunters will know that the Selous was named after Frederick Courteney Selous who died near Beho Beho during WW I. He was buried in the reserve, and, for the longest time, his grave was "lost" and almost entirely swallowed by the wilderness.Many other luminaries and African characters have made the Selous their destination. "Snake man" Ionides and famous wildlife painter Wilhelm Kuhnert are just two such men.Tales of giant tuskers and infamous man-eating lions are included in this book, which is the best and most thorough record on the Selous Game Reserve ever written.
